This university system created a vigorous online program that mainly serves students balancing work, family, or other responsibilities, many of whom face barriers to attending in-person classes, particularly individuals who are seeking to transfer to a four-year institution and who live and work hours away from a university.

To remove financial barriers to higher education, this university laid the foundation for two programs that offer free tuition to students from low- and moderate-income families who face barriers to accessing higher educationstudents.
